FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • This is my first time commissioning art and I'm not sure how it works, can you explain the process to me?
I'm so honoured you're thinking of choosing my work as your introduction to commissioning art! Here's a very thorough guide on what to expect when commissioning artists. If you have any questions specific to my process, feel free to contact me!

  • Can I commission you to draw fan art?
I'm very happy to draw fanart in most cases! Feel free to check in with me about the specific franchise!

  • Do you draw OC x Canon art?
In most cases, yes! Please confirm with me beforehand!

  • Can you draw my character in someone else's art style?
No, I'm only willing to draw in my own style; feel free to give specific examples of pieces of mine you like the style of, but please do not ask me to emulate someone else's artwork. The exception I make to this are my Art Nouveau style commissions inspired by the art of Alphonse Mucha, since his works are in the public domain.

  • Can I resell / make merch / profit from your art?
No, unless we've established a contract beforehand - commercial usage rights are an added fee to the commission. Otherwise, the art you commission is only for personal use. This includes, for instance, sharing it on social media, or printing it / having it made into keychains and other items - but only if you do not sell or profit from them in any way.

  • I'm excited to share my commission, can I post it on [social media website]?
Of course! I'd appreciate it if you could credit me as the artist and tag my account whenever possible! You may crop or edit it (i.e. for a banner) and share it wherever you like so long as you do not profit from it. Please note that I will post your artwork on my art accounts as well (unless you specify otherwise), so you can share that post if you'd prefer. Please let me know in advance if you'd like me to tag your social media account, and if so, which handle to use.
You may not post or upload my art that someone else commissioned on any platform.

  • Can I use your art for my D&D campaign tokens?
Unless it's art that you commissioned yourself, I kindly ask you to refrain from using any artwork I create for other clients in your TTRPG games, as these characters do not belong to me. I would also prefer if you didn't use any of my own OCs and personal artworks as tokens / stand-in art for your campaign. I would be very happy to instead draw custom ones for you, or if you prefer, you can get some of my ready-made designs from my adoptable shop!

You can also subscribe to my Ko-fi membership for exclusive monthly NPC tokens or purchase token packs from my Ko-fi shop.

  • What art programs/tools do you use?
I draw digitally using Clip Studio Paint Pro and a Wacom Intuos Pro M tablet, with a pen from my old Wacom Intuos 4.

  • How did you learn to draw?
I'm entirely self-taught; I've been drawing all my life, but I started taking it more seriously from the age of 12, when I started posting my art online and interacting with other artists. I learned from tutorials, observation, and mainly lots and lots of practice!
